How can Harry destroy Horcruxes and where does he get the glass in his pocket?
I’m watching HP7 (Deathly Hallows Part I) and I understand Harry destroys the diary in the second film with a Basilisk fang. Then later in this film they destroy Delores’ pendant with the sword of Godric Gryffindor. What I don’t understand is why they need such special items to destroy them and could one item be used for many horcruxes? Like the sword for 5 Horcruxes 
Also he keeps pulling out a piece of glass and I don’t understand what it is an where he got it. I need to know because I have NOT seen the last film and will see it tomorrow.

Horcruxes can only be destroyed by very powerful unique magical objects
like Basilisk fang it’s poison can only be cured by phoenix tears which make Basilisk fang really powerful and unique
and the sword of Godric Gryffindor only takes in the things which make the sword itself stronger
Harry killed the Basilisk with the sword in HP 2
Basilisk’s poison is in the sword and Horcruxes can now be destroyed by the sword
The mirror was given by Sirius Black so that he and Harry can communicate if there’s any danger
(Sirius also had one)
Harry forgot the mirror and it was broken accidentally in his luggage
He kept the broken piece because Sirius gave it to him
