Tactical Knife

In MW2 is the Tactical Knife based off of the same knife as the regular one?
I know the default knife is the Tatang Combo Edge Knife however the tactical knife looks different so I was wondering if it is a different knife what is it?
Most things from MW2 is instrument’s used in the military,some stuff is fake, but even the sentry gun is real, they have it, but its too expensive to use. Thats why you never see it during war time
