Is it legal for a civilian to carry a Ka-Bar TDI Knife in New York State?
On Ka-Bar’s website, the knife is listed under law enforcement (LE), but I have found nothing on distributors’/sellers’ web-sites regarding restricted sales. This knife is designed as a defense weapon for LE officers when their primary weapon (pistol) is unable to be accessed or used. I don’t see why a civilian should not be able to own it for defense as well. Thanks in advance for your response.

IT depends upon where you carry it. IF you carry it in your wife’s shoulder blades, you will go to jail for sure.
