Toothpick Stag
I have never played golf before. More important than the ‘How to Play’ is the ‘What to Wear’ – HELP!
It’s a stag do this Friday. I’ve never been on one, and never played golf. I’ll be teeing off in 48 and a bit hours, and I’m panicking – I’ll admit it.
I don’t mind playing the clown and hacking away blindly at a small ball balanced on an over-sized toothpick. But it’s what I WEAR while I do it that’s hacking me right off. I know that a polo shirt is good, but what else? HELP!

Just wear long pants (cotton), no jeans, not tight – make sure you’re confortable in them. If you live in a warm climate, shorts a fine, but make sure they are not too short. Polo shirts are fine, collar is a must on most courses. Socks, sport shoes or rent a pair of golf shoes at the club house. Baseball cap.
