Is the USA’s pride its greatest fault?
No, it is its greatest asset. People are proud to be American, They don’t back down from the mistakes or the successes. They support their leaders, and when they don’t agree, they use the power of the vote to change government. Americans are the most generous, caring, helpful people on the planet. The world will suffer directly if the US decides to withdraw from the global arena, which some suggest it do. The US is the champion of democracy, faults and all.
