Using Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 in Urban Warfare?
I’m looking for opinions on the use of the S&W MP15-22 in Social Order collapse scenario in the U.S. or any country for that matter. Considering the fact that ammo is abundant and cheap…Stockpiling with this weapon would be easier than a AR-15, or .45
The M&P 15 5.56 is a great weapon and a superior choice. But In a situation where most are wielding handguns and shotguns.. I want to know if a M&P 15- .22LR can be affective in Urban chaos..
In terms of self defense, especially in a lawless anarchic society, a .22LR rifle would not be enough for you. There is a reason that .22LR weapons are not widely used in terms of combat, and that is because they just do not have enough stopping power.
Stockpiling 5.56/.223 or 9mm ammunition would not really be a problem due to the fact that it is everywhere. It exists in large quantities in almost every country on Earth, so you would not have a hard time finding some when you needed it.
