Will we all basically become vegetarians in Heaven?
I believe it was somewhere in Isaiah, how God will restore everything to the original divinity of things. How the wolf will lie peacefully with the lamb, etc. And those of you who say we will be spirits in Heaven, remember what Paul said? How we will be instantly transformed with new bodies “in the blink of an eye…” and Jesus said in Revelation that he will grant believers to eat of the fruit of the tree of Life in Paradise. So things will be like Eden?
First of all before I say anything, none of us know what Heaven is truly going to be like. All I know is that I’ll be with God and Jesus, other things arent as important.
As far as this goes, I don’t see why we will need to eat in Heaven. John 6:35 says “Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” Also in John 4 32-35ish he talks about having food from Heaven. While these examples of food might be metaphors, we do know that God will provide all we need. God may want us to eat some great cooking he makes in Heaven, or he may let us focus on greater things. I truly dont know, but whatever happens in Heaven will be awesome!
