Wood Lockback
what are the best handles for lockback knives?

is it wood, or metal? or what material is the best for a lockback knives handle?

Wood will be lighter, and should wear better (not show scratches as readily as metal would). Wood also offers more grip than metal, but grip may be added in other ways (knurling metal or chequering wood etc.) so that needs to be taken into consideration too. Metal can be engraved much more easily/cheaply/readily than wood, so that might factor into the decision too.

Then you have aesthetics; which do you prefer the look of?

I would also mirror the comments of the first answer; I love G10.
