how small is the worlds smallest GPS chip that doesn’t require an antenna.?
Does a thing like this even exzist yet? How small are the smallest gps chips to date? What do you know about the development of this kinda technology(gps chips that don’t require antennas and are very tiny) Are there any small enough to fit in a Locket?
Designing the antenna to put GPS in a small package is almost the most important thing. The actual chips are down under 1/4″ square while the antennas are now made with thin film in complex patterns and molded or adhered to shell as in the ones in cell phones. Getting one in a locket is going to be a problem anyway because of the added circuitry to get the information out or logged.
