Yellow Mini

*Mini Schnauzer, Throwing up yellow foam and not eating, Please help.?
I have a little over a year old Mini Schnauzer… I’ve took her to the vet about 2 or 3 months ago for this same reason… My dog had been throwing up yellow foam looking stuff and not eating, drinking and being tired and lazy… she’s a indoor dog and doesn’t run around in any other places then out yard.. pretty much… The vet have her medicine before and it cleared up, now it’s back… here’s the thing, she licks her slef alot! and I’m worrying that it could be hair that she eats/licks getting in her stomach and making her sick… If anyone knows anything about this and what I can do to help and make her better other than taking her back to the Vet… Please let me know. Thanks.
It might be blockage in the intestines which doesn’t allow her to go to the bathroom thus not allowing her to eat any more. A radiograph would show if that’s the problem but whatever it is you need to go to the vet. If your dog is throwing up, becoming lethargic, and not eating/drinking – it is a serious problem.
After you get her taken care of and you’re still worried about the hair problem – you could try feeding her some petroleum jelly which is what they give to cats to coat the hair in the stomach so that it doesn’t stick together. Note: this will not dissolve a clot once it is already formed- it is a preventative measure only.
